RUN-THROUGH WITH NOTES

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had notes, and now it is time for you to post until the noted cows come home.

Thanks for the update on the shipping info, BK.  I figured that that was the case.

Well, I'm off to bed.  I finally get a day to sleep in...and Neve's not going to stop me, either! ;D

Have a good day, all!

I went back to bed after feeding the cats and slept for two more hours.  Stella kept me company.

I had many strange dreams last night, but I only remember a long one in which I was working on a show at Goodspeed.  The production running was Sweeney Todd, and Annabelle got out of my charge and ended up onstage. My memories of this dream are trying to get to her while she wandered around during "God, that's good" and a talk with producer Michael Price, whom I dearly love.  He's now retired and I hope he is well.

I have absolutely no plans for the day.  After I tidy up, I may lounge, go back to the Cole Porter letters, or watch something on DVD.

Saturday.

I want to watch the CREATURE with the commentaries.....so that will take some time.....

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

The funniest scene of ALL that made me laugh the most and is a classic for me is the one that has MR BK mopping the floor as we hear "The Blue Danube" in the background.....

Lang Lang gave an amazing performance here and watching him in rehearsal was a thrill.

This photo pretty much expresses my opinion of last week's impeachment hearings.

We’re going to dinner tonight with Fr. Wayne and his wife Sandy, then to Cincinnati’s Aronoff Center for a stage version of The Screwtape Letters.

There’s another CD I found, an import called A Vintage Broadway Christmas.

Two CDs. 2019 holiday release, a unique album of festive showtunes and yuletide favorites as sung by Broadway's stars of yesteryear. A pageant of yuletide nostalgia, this bespoke collection embraces the bygone Christmases of the 1950s and '60s. Includes seasonal selections from the Broadway musicals Subways Are For Sleeping, Greenwillow, Irma La Douce, Song Of Norway, Call Me Mister and Babes In Toyland. The collection boasts a glittering array of Broadway stars performing festive material from carols and holiday classics to novelty Christmas numbers, many of which make their debut on CD. Featured performers include Mary Martin, Joel Grey, Barbara Cook, John Raitt, Elaine Stritch, Leslie Uggams, Sally Ann Howes, William Tabbert, Eartha Kitt, Mimi Hines, Dorothy Collins and many more. Give the gift of showtunes this Christmas with A Vintage Broadway Christmas, the perfect stocking filler for the musical theatre enthusiast!

It won’t replace A Broadway Christmas as one of my sll-time favorites, but it sounds fun.

I love the Randy Rainbow videos, and I think he's been getting better and more outrageous with each one lately.

Tell Annabelle that Sweeney Todd is NOT the show she wants to star in!

Curious to know thoughts from those who've seen both versions of the film as to how the original feels after only knowing the other cut.

Tell Annabelle that Sweeney Todd is NOT the show she wants to star in!

You tell her!  She won't stop singing "The Worst Pies in London!"  And when she and Thatch start in on "A Little Priest," it's a din.

I wish they'd go back to their holiday repertoire.
