Tom, the music director was Jeff Bell.  He's a nice guy.

Yes, George, I know who he is.  I just had Thanksgiving dinner with him..... for the second year in a row.

I didn't know that you had Thanksgiving dinner with him last year.  I barely knew him last year.

Well, actually you did know, because I told you that Jeff was there, and you said you didn’t know him very well.

I had a very restless night, and I'm blaming it on all the rich food.  It was a delicious dinner but my home meals are very Spartan these days, so I'm sure the dinner was a total shock to my system.

We had a nice Thanksgiving get-together yesterday with my son, his lady and her family.

Nice to finally have family here in Austin.

I'm going to try to watch THE ICEMAN COMETH with Jason Robards this weekend.

Next week, when it becomes available on Redbox, I'll probably watch ONCE UPON A TIME IN ...HOLLYWOOD.

My son watched it on a plane last week; thought it was just so-so.

I still haven't forgiven Tarantino for stealing my title.

Kitty Cleanup accomplished, I'm on my second cuppa coffee and pondering my next move, which is maybe to go back to bed for a couple of hours.

The dinner thing yesterday was most enjoyable, and we sat in front of the tube like zombies through the evening. So why do I feel worn out now? Well, that’s just the way life is.

Good thing I’m not a Black Friday shopper. I can’t even imagine.

I think I went out on a Black Friday exactly once, over ten years ago. And that was late in the day for one particular thing, so it wasn’t even a big deal. But I just don’t take part in the madness.
