Lee Pockriss' "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICkWjdQuK7Q

It still holds up.  the song, not the bikini.

I remember some years ago where that song was used for a commercial, but they changed the lyrics.  The original lines are:
It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today

But the commercial changed the first words to:
She wore an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today

Stone-passing vibes, Fred. I can empathize with you on how not fun they are.

I'm hoping the new plan will cover the pulverization route, which sounds horrible, but apparently make the stones tinier.   They said the goal is that I don't have to go through what my dad had to do -  but who can argue with 99 and still singing?  No way I'll get near there, I think.

Good vibes you can get the pulverization and it works!

Although even during the Christmas carols when we were together holiday week in Florida, Dad's singing still sounded very Jewish, even when the lyrics were about Santa.  Though even the Christmas songs WERE mostly by Jewish songwriters.

There is only one veggie hot dog I like as it tastes like a regular hot dog.

They sent this video link about what the various techniques for my plan are for pulverizing the stones, making them easy to pass.

This may be why my dad didn't choose this approach when it was offered when was 95. :)

It's pretty clear why many people are doing their own returns.

"If you (or someone you know) will be reporting income of $69,000 or less on your 2019 personal income tax return, you may be able to electronically prepare and file your income tax returns for free."

This approach uses tax software available on the IRS website, I presume.

I've noticed a number of accountants now give you a quote before you ask them to do your return. A plus for clients and does rather keep accountants in check.

I guess maybe approaching 60 (and thus closer to retiring or expiring :) ) this year may not be that bad.

Does anyone here have any advice about required  signing up for Medicare when you are still fully employed with health benefits?

Vixmom, I read that you should start the process three months before your 65th birthday. I hadn't known that and didn't start it until maybe two months before and still got on it without a delay.

I also sought out and found an insurance agent who specializes in Medicare. He's very knowledgeable and charges no fee--he's paid by the insurance companies. We sat down face-to-face and he explained various plans. I HIGHLY recommend this. (You need someone for your area.) I also HIGHLY recommend that you investigate and consider a Medicare Advantage plan instead of original Medicare.

If said person plans to stay employed after age 65, then they should consult a Medicare specialist. I have excellent coverage with a Medicare Advantage plan, much better than many employer-paid plans.

Started listening to The Dutch House on the drive today. Tom Hanks is doing the reading, and he's wonderful. I don't think I've heard him narrate a novel before. I'm already deep into disc 2 of 8.

I will have to finish the movie tomorrow, I guess. I'm beginning to fade. I will finish the story of this one man, Paul.

My book group is discussing this book next month.  I will share your comments with them. While I can't listen to an entire audio book I will try to find a sample.

Back from a run-through.  A bit rough with line calls and people not really giving the performances we've worked on in rehearsal, but simply struggling to get their lines out.  And it didn't help that Doug was there to watch.  I'd told him he could come this week, but I unfortunately assumed that he'd come tomorrow or just to the designer run-through.  It certainly threw the cast off their game and so the run-through was not what it should have been and although he told everyone he liked it and that it looked good, I suspect he probably didn't much care for it.  But who knows?  We can only get it back to what it was pre-no scripts and build from there.  Even rough, there are many affecting moments in the play and the staging, for my money, is very simple but effective.
