Well, you've read the notes, the notes were cynical, and now it is time for you to post until the cynical cows come home.

Last night after coming home from my parents' house, I started to clean up a little bit in my living room.  Just to go through a pile of papers on the sideboard/buffet at the entrance to my house took almost an hour.  Obviously, it's been quite a while since I'd gone through any of that stuff.  I found a couple of receipts and coupons from 2018! :o

Today, I might go through all the crap that's on my dining table.  That might not take as long because it's just a bunch a big stuff, not little receipts and things where I need to look at every little thing...hopefully.  We'll see.

Read a bit more.  I continue to be amazed that a professionally published book can be riddled with such sloppy writing and detail, from simple name misspellings to incomprehensible sentences.  It's throughout - in an early chapter he calls Sandy Bressler, "Bressler" without an introduction and names him as Nicholson's lawyer.  Later in the book we get Sandy Bressler and the correct profession - Jack's AGENT (and at one point mine - not Bressler personally - but Bressler, Wolf, Cota, and Livingston, my favorite of all the agencies I was with.

DR TCB you have a kind vet to spend 2 hours talking to you.  Are the offices open for pets?  I still follow our old office in Ashland.   They are open for animals, however,  not their people.  Only staff are permitted inside.

I imagine this is extra stressful for you with Nicky's medical issues and age.

The small coastal town of Warrenton in Oregon was overrun with tourists this weekend.  Yesterday the short term tourists were given 24 hours to leave.

Other towns along the coast of Oregon & Washington were having similar problems and were talking about doing the same.

I feel I am rushing about with no head trying to accomplish all that I would like by 8:00 when the surgery prep begins.

I managed to get the big things done: clean the cats' dishes, change the litter, replace the litter box and take the old one to the basement and wash it out.  I've taken the first bottle of Surprep, and the process has begun.

DR Jane, I will hopefully take a taxi to hospital.  I hope I can find one cruising Amsterdam Avenue at 5:30AM.

On Sunday mornings back in the day, which for me was during the late 70s, I’d be tuning in to Brian Clewer’s show CYNIC’S CHOICE on KFAC-FM.

So I might listen to some vintage British CYNICAL comedy while puttering around today.

I will for sure be listening to some 90th birthday Sondheim.

There is a man on TV talking about things to do while at home and each and every thing he mentioned was about the internet and apps.....no mention of reading a book, listening to music, or talking to someone else in the house.

Last night, we rented 2 movies from Redbox:

1. RICHARD JEWELL, a Clint Eastwood-directed film that we liked very much.

2. UNCUT GEMS, with Adam Sandler, which we didn't.  Sandler was excellent, but there was nobody in the slow-moving film to "root for".

At 9:50 this morning, Dr Glickman, the urologist who was going to remove the tumor from my kidney, phoned to say that he and Dr Aronoff had decided to postpone the surgery for 4 weeks or so.

I wish he'd called before the first round of Surprep!
