And our Governor says it's just going to get worse but maybe we can reopen the schools in another week she'll take a look at it Good grief

I'm thinking about starting something, writing-wise, should any interesting ideas come to me - maybe not a novel, maybe a play of some sort.  But, maybe a novel.  That would be novel.

Tonight’s Zoom meeting was a nightmare!

I'm thinking about starting something, writing-wise, should any interesting ideas come to me - maybe not a novel, maybe a play of some sort.  But, maybe a novel.  That would be novel.

How about, "BK: The Unauthorized Autobiography: A Novel."

The last time we all chatted, we were going to start rehearsals again on April 9, with opening night on May 1.

Tonight we were going to find out what changes are needed now.

[George]

Tonight’s Zoom meeting was a nightmare!

Just today, I got a FB message for the production of Mamma Mia! that I'll be doing in Centralia:  "Our rehearsals are scheduled to begin on April 20th with a read through and handling paperwork and so we are going to do that, but we are going to do that virtually."  And the music will be taught online starting on April 21.

What's that going to be like??

I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The new plan is this.  Opening night is delayed another week to May 7 (Thursday).  We would run Thursday and Friday night, two performance on Saturday, and then a Sunday matinee.

But, but, but..... what about rehearsals??

Oh, no problem.  Beginning next Thursday, we are be holding rehearsals on Zoom.

Oh yes, all rehearsals through April 30 will be read-thrus and run-thrus. Then on May 1 we will cram tech, dress rehearsals and everything else we need to open on May 7.

And, I asked, what if they don’t lift the bans on April 30?  Oh, then we move to Plan D, and we open in July, after all of this is behind us.

So, I said that frankly, I vote for Plan D.

Actually, someone asked if there would a be video of the dances.  The choreographer lives in Alaska and will only be here for a short period of time, but there will be a dance captain or two.

The dates for Mamma Mia! haven't changed, but the two shows before it, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Next To Normal have been postponed.
