Book Woman of Troublesome Creek?

Yup. Blue bookwoman of Kentucky. It was the first draft of the Patsy Cline song.

Interesting people.

I took a taxi to the post office, bought my stamps, and walked across Broadway and 68th to Amsterdam Ave and hit the pharmacy.  As soon as I entered, I was given a pair of gloves.  I got my meds and some household necessities, and caught the bus home.  It took me all of an hour and 38 minutes to accomplish everything.  Once again, the bus ride was free and I am happy to be inside.

After I noticed all those price increases for cat food on Amazon, I placed an order with Chewy.com last Tuesday.  It took eight days to fill the order and ship it, but it took only two days to get here from California, and I am very happy to have it and ecstatic about the prices!

Good to hear, I've been considering Chewy.com for my catfood

Colder today, so we plan to mow the yard tomorrow.

We've gone from 70 a few days ago to snow predicted for tomorrow

1388 cases in Iowa, 118 new cases ,2 new deaths for 31 deaths - My county is up to 15, the three new ones are probably the police officers.

On my calendar today, as we had intended to go, "Tom & Jed MURDER ON THE NILE-Lakewood Playhouse". :(

The timing was good as we weren't going to Chicago until the following week.

Wow, they gave you gloves to wear.  Did the have someone making sure people weren't trashing the gloves on the ground as they left?  I have seen some awful photos.

elmore, I, too, hate the stage version of Millie.  Also, Andre Previn only arranged the songs, Elmer Bernstein did the score and won an Oscar for it.

The wrestling thing was one of my favorite things to stage.  We went VERY slowly as I blocked each move.  And despite my saying repeatedly, don't do anything but learn the moves - no acting, no energy, nothing - the Blassie guy hit his head on the ground during a slow motion run of the whole routine and was out of rehearsal for four days.  Once he was back, we slowly worked up to it and he never hurt himself again, nor did the other fellow.  All my years of going to the wrestling matches and sitting in the front row really paid off.  In today's theater, this would have been given to a fight captain, but I would never have allowed that.  We did bring in a movement specialist after it was staged to watch it, but she was delighted and could see how safe we made it all.

Unfortunately many states have now surpassed Washington which has 9,755 confirmed cases.  My county is now at with 14 deaths.

I have been paying more attention to Cook County but I get the feeling DR Ginny prefers I don't talk about it :)

Friday afternoon greetings!  I’m about to make some Easter cookies, which are basically Christmas cookies using different cutters and toppings.

Rob and Mary Linda are in DuPage County, but still greater Chicago.  So glad Rob’s out of both the medical field and the corrections system.

I didn't realize he was doing different work.  He is still with the same company, right?  What is he doing now?

While high enough DuPage County has far fewer cases than Cook County.

Crazy morning, lazy afternoon. I am back to watching Hardy. Gray clouds all around. Tragedy blossoming in the fields.

I finished changing the lyrics from all caps to normal type for Act Three.  I still have the appendix lyrics to work on tomorrow and I need to learn how to do footnotes in a Word document.
