They were masked and gloved and had a nice bench set up in the parking lot

The inspection went fine except I needed a rear brake light and an oil change but I escaped with only a $89 bill

When they were done they pulled out the Clorox wipes and wiped down the interior and the door handles

Vixmom, I need an oil change. But I'm worried about whatever viruses are left in the air after the service technician gets out of the car.

I just watched Love Never Dies.  I was very much against a sequel.

I think I liked it. It was beautiful.

Elmore, what happened with Michael? I'm sure the Fiddler tour had to end. Is he home in NYC? Have they rescheduled the tour for the fall?

AAUW Ohio’s annual meeting is now history.  Officers have been elected and installed.  There were about 75 people on the Zoom and, of course there were some technical difficulties.  We might have been able to avoid some of those if more people had shown up for at least one of the president’s practice sessions.

Anyway, the Middletown branch won awards in the website, newsletter, and diversity categories, as well as being among the top tier in the “best practices” competition.

Very nice.  Do you think Zoom would work well for a book discussion?

Yes, as long as multiple people don’t try to talk at once.  That’s annoying enough face to face and REALLY annoying on line.  I’ve been to 2 book discussions on Google Hangouts, which is similar, and I have another one coming up on Tuesday.

Well, I just took another baby step into the 21st century by installing Zoom on my laptop. I needed it for this webinar I'll be sitting in on this afternoon (with apologies to DR Elmore :) ).  Pray for Rosemary's baby.

Was it easy to do and what did it cost?

Fairly easy. The software is free. You'd definitely want to set it up and make sure it's operational before going online with it.

If you want to HOST conferences, it's probably advisable to spend the $15 or $20 for an upgrade. Otherwise, you're restricted to 40 minutes in length, and there are probably other benefits to upgrading.

I downloaded Zoom to my phone and tablet because I have Zoom meetings for work.  Since I'll never host a work Zoom meeting, I won't need to pay.

It sounds easy enough.

The dealership we purchased our car out sent a notice they completely sanitizing after working on cars.  Maybe the place you get your oil change is doing the same.   How many miles has it been since your last oil change?  If you aren't driving much maybe it can wait.

Multiple talkers, and I am also guilty of doing this, is my concern with a group video discussion.  Thanks for letting me know Google Hangouts is similar to Zoom.

We may just end up on the lawn.

I am the "organizer" for this discussion I don't even care about.  I am enjoying the book "Shoe Dog" and finding it interesting which I didn't expect to do.  I still have absolutely no interest in discussing it.  Shoe Dog is the memoir by Philip Knight about Nike.

There was a zoom Bible study at church this morning

We’ve had them, too.
