Been doing Kritzerland show stuff - mixing the group audio - very hard to do over the phone so we do it, he sends, I don't like, we do it again, he sends, it's better but not perfect, and on we go.

Watching a fully staged production of Shakespeare's King Henry the VIII. Claire Bloom is a wonderful Catherine of Aragon, but the play is all over the place. Nobody really comes off well. The story goes only to the birth of Elizabeth, and that part of the ending is fairly good, but the rest of the play, Shakespeare's last, is dreary.

DR Vixmom, that is interesting about you thinking that Vixdad had covid in the Fall. Have you spoken to his doctor about this.

And re: your mom and her groceries. I would ask her to make a list and tell her that you will only be going once a week.  Or you make a list of the things that you know that she needs every week.

Vixmom, in this play, Cardinal Woolsey calls Anne Bullen (Boleyn) a "spleeny Lutheran." Love it. Here's to us spleeny Lutherans.

Trying to watch a movie but keep dozing off - it doesn't help that the sound is mastered so low you can barely hear it, yet another inept Olive Blu-ray.  I believe they're given a transfer and don't even watch or look at it, just slap it on a disc and sell it.

Listening to Bruno with a B's superb stereo New World Symphony.  He was in his 80s when he made all these stereo recordings.

Olive has good titles, but the transfers are crap. Funny, my brain was thinking cheap, but my fingers typed crap, which is the right word.

Went to Gelson's - needed a low-cal sweet and got some rice pudding, which I'm now eating.  Also, got food to make here for the next two days.

Back to Beethoven, then onto someone new - Bruckner.

I've never cared for Bruckner but I'm hoping Bruno with a  B gives me a new perspective.

Today, the family is getting together for the family dinner...at 2:00 pm.  I was supposed to go over to my parents' yesterday, but we postponed until today.  There will be much Phase 10 playing, I'm sure.

We did play Phase 10 and I won! :D

Surprisingly, it was a little overdone, but fortunately not burned.

But still...a little too dark for them since it's all pretty much automated. :-\

One is a tie-dye mask (the colors are very similar) and the other is a Star Trek mask.
