I feel bad for all of the outdoor businesses, especially the restaurants, that are suffering due to the hazardous air quality.

Portland keeps making the news as the city with the worst air quality in the world.  Of course Vancouver isn't mentioned and our air quality is either the same or worst.

I am finding places in the world far worse than we are.  At 1300 Mammoth Lakes, California is double our worst score.  Are they on fire?

Hi DR Kevin.  Do you have any sort of haze there due to smoke?

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, DR JRand70. (70? I have been away a long time!)

So much sadness on our world these days.

This is a bit of a tardy tribute, but can I just say: the Kritzerland Anniversary concert was amazing!

How are we so fortunate to benefit from this labor of love?

I fell in love with  eight-year-old BJ last month when he entered the Staten Island ACC.  He weighed too much for the size of my apartment and I couldn't walk him so it was a no-go.  This afternoon the ACC murdered him, and it really hurts.

I have a suggestion for TCB:

How about if you apply to be a foster home for Pockets and her kittens. When the kittens are big enough to be adopted, you can adopt Pockets (if you two get along).

I'm sure they don't want to raise the kittens in the shelter. They probably would love to have her go into a home for a couple of months.

I considered suggesting that, however, I am concerned the kittens might be too much work or cause Tom to trip & fall.

Guess I'll shower, mosey on over to the mail place, and then have a lunch meeting.

On the performance front - I have just been offered the part of Mr. Fezziwig in the DePauw ZOOM production of A Christmas Carol....and also the part of one of the solicitors who come in at the beginning to request that Mr Scrooge donate some money.....

That will be fun.....I am sure.

I expected to one day play Mr. Fezziwig, but I guess was kidding myself that it was too soon to do so.....
