Sorry DR GEORGE that is just the type of "look at me I made it better" staging that I really don't appreciate......had it been done to a contemporary song, I think I would have enjoyed it much better.

Saturday.

I got my script for A Christmas Carol.....I have a total of ten lines....I think I can do it.

My number of lines increase if I do some dance calling under dialog.....but I think since this is a radio script that we are doing on ZOOM, that section may be cut.....I will find out tomorrow when we do the ZOOM read thru.

I am now under the impression that not ALL of the students are on campus and that some of them will be doing their sections from their homes.

Thank you, DR Ginny!  No, all that came in yesterday's mail was a card from Rob Berman's mother.  Perhaps today.  I do think there has been postal slow down in Manhattan.

I left way before dawn today to get a parking spot at the mountain. I waited until it was light enough to hike. People were hiking in the dark, but I probably would have tripped.

I was about two minutes too late to see the rattlesnake on the trail. By the time I got there, he had slithered off the trail and blended in with the desert.

Happy New Year to those who celebrate.

We made all of the food and then had people stop by to pick it up.  We decided not to eat all together. It's quite cold today to eat outside tonight. And we don't think that we should all eat at a table inside due to covid.

I am looking forward to having some yummy matzah ball soup tonight.

We went to Safeway for a few items and walked the cemetery before shopping.  The walk takes us past a driving range that has been closed since the smoke overtook us.  It was very busy today :)

Lots of walkers and joggers as we drove to Safeway.  We were glad we skipped the walking path though it was nice to see people out again.

Walking down the stairs to our garage the stairwell was still very smoky.  I expect it will take longer for the smoke to dissipate.
