Topic of the Day:  while I've heard that there are places in Olympia that have closed (and I can't remember which because I didn't go to them regularly, or even occasionally), fortunately, none of my regular Tumwater places have. :)

Well, I need to get to bed.  My dental appointment is in the morning, and it's before I go to work, so I need to get up earlier than usual.

Have a good day, all!

Did more work on project one, just because I could, and now it's Szell doing the most wonderful Dvorak 8th ever.  And the stereo on this one is spectacular.

What if, instead of writing "Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart," Oscar Hammerstein had written "Mush on..."

Very sad news about Jerry's and about all the businesses that have suffered during the pandemic. Individuals are suffering, too, but there is no immediate help coming from Washington DC, for purely political reasons.

I have never even heard of A Patch of Blue. It appears to be available for streaming on Amazon, so will remedy that.

I am surprised you never heard of it.  I too think it is a wonderful film.

It wasn't a bad night, but it wasn't a good night.  I had lots of dreams, but I only remember one, something about a production of Candide.

Annabelle slept beside me all night. Usually, she climbs up to her hideout in the bookcases, so I was surprised to wake around 4:00 and find her next to me.  Thatch and Stella made occasional stops.

I accomplished so much yesterday that I have no plans today.  I've got some work to do on the A&T book, but my chief goal is to do little as possible today.

About this Amy Coney Barrett appointment to the SCOTUS: if there is a huge Democrat sweep in the election, I would think there must surely be a loophole to rid the court of her and Kavanaugh. Then, again, another superspreader at the White House last night might just kill a few.

Sadly Elizabeth Hartman was never able to capitalize on her terrific performance in a Patch o Blue. She eventually committed suicide at age of 43.

Tuesday morning is staff meeting for work. Since we now have to turn our cameras on, I'll have to shave and shower.

Now Jaye tells me she is bringing me some "computer equipment" before the recording tonight.

She will be here at 10:45 this morning.  I do not know what it is or what it is all about.  I do not know if we have to RE-record scene two and my bow.....I guess these questions will be answered soon.

Something that was supposed to be fun has turned into HELL.....so we shall see what happens.

DR Jrand70 - your reaction shot will be so nuanced that they need special equipment to capture it in all its glory.
