DR JENNIFER nice birthday buys!  Don't you love it when it all comes together like that?  And 50% off!

And I didn't even mention the best part.  One of the shirts was supposed to come with shorts.  But they were nowhere to be found. So she sold me the shirt for $2.50!  (and the others ended up to be only $5 each).

DR Jane, actually I didn't get any pics from tues.  Nobody brought their camera!  But this is a really nice restaurant (it was packed even on a Tuesday). So there cake was very gourmet.  And when they cut the pieces they drizzles chocolate sauce on each person's plate.

DR ELMORE - thanks for the video that arrived today.  I will be watching it shortly?

Would you like for me to send you a nice selection of video rarities?

DRJRand54, I'm glad it arrived!  You owe me nothing. It was my pleasure.

DR MATTH -- poor Lucille, what a great example.  Didn't she also have a Life Magazine cover?

Did she? I never knew that! Well, she was spectacular looking in YOLANDA and was a great dancer. I think her numbers in ZIEGFELD FOLLIES with Astaire are superb, the highlights of the movie (along with Judy's Madame Crematon and Lena's "Love").

And I guess you read the news on the internet about Bo today. Turns out he had a cocaine possession charge in 2001. [sigh]

A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories.

After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse.

"But why?" they asked, as they moved off. "Because," he said,

"I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open  foyer."

Happy Birthday to Joe!  We want a cake report tomorrow, preferably with pictures!

DR RonPulliam: Albuterol has been around for a long time. The only side effect I know is that it can make you shake if you take too much and don't need it. Wheezing causes damage to your lungs, so take the meds you need to keep it under control.

DR Jennifer: Thanks for the cake report!

I hope DR Sandra has time to log in today. She's good at remembering quotes.

I really do like this high-speed internet thing. I'm still getting used to stepping over the wire through the house, though.

Has this "charming" British craze come to anyone's attention?

I don't recall reading about it here, although I might well have missed it.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,3604,1470161,00.html

What I will say is, bring it on!  I've been spoiling to knock someone's block off for a long time...and this would be a good reason to do it!

DR RLP that is terrible.  At first I thought maybe it was the NEW English fad that MR BK's hair-person had mentioned, but this is a NEW atrocity!

For those with an interest in such things:

When DR JOSE again joins MAMMA MIA! (and it's rag bag) - he will be in the company of some of the MOST beautiful women I have ever seen in my life.  And not only do they look great, they can sing, AND get all their laughs!

Number one on MY list is Miss Lisa Mandel who plays Tanya!

Just worked with Mr. Kevin Spirtas - fun.

Drinking some EmergenC and then will have luncheon.

Heard back from a new book guinea pig - an important one for many reasons, and he was very pleased with the book, so I'm happy.
