Well, you've read the notes, the notes were the notes that were, and now it is time for you to post until the those were the cows that were cows come home.

It's suddenly pouring rain outside, with thunder and lightning.

Rain is good.  I hope the lightning doesn't do any damage.

Today, I'm back to work, and hopefully, the end-of-the-year fiscal roll-over that I did on Saturday won't cause any problems.  I don't think it will, but I'll find out soon enough!

Have a good day, all!

Just enjoying the HELL out of Previn's Streetcar opera - I'd enjoyed it the one time I heard it, but it's really like having new Previn film music - and I LOVE Previn film music.

TOD:

Highlights of 2020 for me have been returning to the HHW fold, surviving some pretty traumatic health issues, and finding resilience despite stay-at-home protocols.

I don't know why it is, but each time I go to bed early because of an early appointment the next day, my plans go to hell.  I went to bed at 8:00, and finally fell asleep after the last time I checked the clock at 11:07.  Then I slept poorly the rest of the night.  My physical exam is next week, and this morning I have the lab work.  I'll leave around 8:30.

When I get home, I have no plans.  I have a couple of packages in the lobby to bring up, I hope to get some work on Oh, Boy!, and I need to pay a few bills.

It's a Monday morning, and I have little to report. The housemates are back at work for the first time in several days, and I've got a few little organizational projects in mind.

I'd say it's a good day to put some of this new music on and crank it up on the Big Speakers.

Last night, we watched FIRST COW, which seems to be winning most of the film critics awards for 2020.

My wife didn't care for it, and I thought it was just so-so.

Certainly they did an excellent job of re-creating the time and place.

There was an interesting story somewhere in there, but the film could have easily lost 15-20 minutes. It would have also been nice if they'd lit the night scenes better, so that you could tell who was who and what was happening.

Is this really the best film we have this year?

T.O.D.

Highlights of 2020?

What highlights...when you're stuck in the house for most of the year?

I write more plays for THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection.

Beyond that...?
