I just found that I'm inadvertently playing THE WAITING GAME with an Amazon shipment. I was checking on one shipment that's being delivered today, when I decided to check on a later order that wasn't yet due. I clicked on "track shipment", and found:
Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping and we had to cancel your delivery. We will issue a refund within 48 hours. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.
Of course all that does is raise questions and tell me NOTHING, so I checked further tracking info which reveals that it shipped on Sunday (it doesn't say from where), it arrived at Amazon in Teterboro NJ yesterday, it left Teterboro for Danbury, it arrived at Danbury before dawn's crack this morning -- where, fifteen minutes later "a carrier delay" occurred and it's being returned to Amazon. No other explanation.
I also have to wonder why, instead of a refund, they aren't simply reshipping. It boggles the mind.
