Thank you, thank you -- merci! -- to one and all, and all and one for your sweet cheers and greetings on the day I'm one year younger than next year! (!?!)!
I had a splendidly splendid day indeed -- Don't I sound velly British here?! --: as most of you may know, I am not Parisian born (I'm from the South West of France) and my Mom (79) arrived today, with a group of Golden Age people from my hometown -- just a koînkidink! -- to visit the city of Versailles for 4 days!
Since I live 15 minutes away by train from Versailles, I was able to see my Mom at her hotel and have lunch with the group: very passable food -- cafeteria style -- with a plain apple pie which tasted like cardboard.... but the company was fun!
Was able to go back home around 6:00 pm and be at work at 8:00 pm! You need to know all of that, don't you?!
Let's hope Dear Reader Tomovoz feels MUCH better tomorrow and can keep some solid food in his body...
He still was able to take a shower AND a stroll in the hospital garden, though, in spite of the tubbing he has to carry around!
Another biopsy showed that he's "all clean" and that's quite reassuring!
Laters! (A plus!... as we say in colloquial French!
Had to take care of some typos!!
I'm "old" but NOT antebellum! Ah!
