I know you want to save for your next car, but IF you need a new (to you) car before then your car payment would be quite a bit less than your mortgage payment, yes?

Most likely, a car payment would be less than my mortgage, but my thinking is, if I'm used to paying this much per month, why not pay that same amount regardless of the actual car payment amount and pay it off earlier...especially if I get a really good deal through Costco, like I did with this car??

Started reading James Lapine's book about Sunday in the Park with George. It's not much actual writing, per se, but, at least so far, mostly interviews.

He does comment about things throughout the book.  That's mostly what he writes.

Just had some good news. I like good news and who wouldn't?

Had a series of wonderful dishes, from pan-roasted chicken to lamb meatballs.

They grow lamb meatballs?  I wish I could grow me a pair.

But they couldn’t hold a candle to a dark chocolate tart with a filling of baked apples. It sounded iffy to me, but it was actually brilliant. The apples stole the show.

A chocolate tart filled with baked apples?  I’ll pass.  Of course, i don’t like apple pie or apple tarts etc. etc. etc.

There was a Grant Wood painting of Herbert Hoover’s home that I really liked.

Was Herbert Hoover standing in front of the house with a pitchfork?

I don’t understand the thinking of these people.  They go on television refusing to be vaccinated because it hasn’t been tested or they don’t trust the government.  But they will inject themselves with horse hemmoroid medicine?  Is their logic in there somewhere??

Or, they take so many different treatments, many that are even more experimental, that us regular folks can't get and that probably cost a lot of money, when they could just get the now-approved vaccine for free!!

Because there are probably still people who might be convinced to...who am I kidding??  You're right!  Just as long as the booster shots for people who want to get them are still free.
