Fun indeed.  We laughed and laughed and just when we thought we could laugh no more, we laughed again.  And the food was quite yummilicious, too.

On a whim, I stopped at my local DVD store and hit another mother lode: Cincinatti Kid, Tom Horn, Never So Few, Dead Ringers (the Cronenberg film, newly released by Warners), first two seasons of Quincy (in one set), St. Ives, and Kansas City Bombers with Raquel Welch.

DR Ron Pulliam - Sorry if I caused you some gastric distress.  It really was a tasty lamb burger.  Just one very thing slice of prosciutto on top, and a dollop of goat cheese.  It really was quite good.  Just think of it as a Mediterranean version of a bacon-cheeseburger.

And Stella's tiramisu is one of the best I've ever had.  Not too heavy, not too Kahlua-y, and not too rich (tasting).  And we did have a "pause" after finishing our burgers before tackling the dessert.

I hope this post hasn't caused more gurgling.

BK - Great news about Caitlynne!  -So, if she goes "wide" with this, do I get a "royalty" for the transcription and typesetting?

DR JRand and Cillaliz - The more I read your posts about Brad/Brent, the more "afraid" I got to click on the links to find out more about him.

It's very strange tonight, weather-wise. It almost feels as though it MIGHT rain. But that would be very strange for this time of year.

DR JOSE - we all know ALL we need to know about BG.

The cover of that Disco Dancer DVD that MBARNUM posted looked like they were wearing those MAMMA MIA! costumes, DRJOSE!

MANSION OF THE GHOST CAT scared the bejeebers out of me a couple of times...I was a bit surprised, frankly!

But it is probably not half as scary as DISCO DANCER, and I will be finding out in just a few moments. LOL!

At dinner tonight BK also bestowed on me two Theatre Worlds of which he had doubles and which I was missing in my collection.  They were a delight to thumb through...the earlier ones did things like cover the Chicago theatre season , the summer stock theatre, and covered shows that didn't make it to Broadway.

I must say though I was looking at some Jose Ferrer shows of Volpone and The Alchemist and it was distressing to see that a theatre publication could not spell Ben Jonson's name correctly...spelling it the traditional "Johnson" way.  Tsk!  Tsk!
