Thank you to the internet and quick access to my medical tests.

Though I feared I had it, I do not have the family curse.  NO CANCER!

A couple of other, non-urgent, things showed up that might be adding to my increased pain.

Hoo and Ray for the non-cancer!! :D

Is that where we ate in Redmond?  In the mall where Starfighter was in 2018?

And I think I'm showing uncharacteristic restraint, not having even mentioned laundry or even the French Laundry all day.

Even while Skip was actually doing laundry this morning. I typed it but backspaced over it.

It's the farthest thing from my mind. Washers. Dryers. Never heard of them. They're just characters in "Caroline or Change" with big arias.

Catching up on musical clips.

This is The Dryer from  a regional production of "Caroline or Change"

I'm not even going to think about asking what that woman wrote.   I put it all out of my mind.  Completely.

I finally heard from the roofer. We might get repaired on Friday.

Vibes that happens on schedule.

Thanks.  I truly am in awe of the results.  My symptoms have been too similar to my sister's before she was diagnosed.

That was a really old photo, Jane. The recipe for cherpumples calls for cream cheese frosting, but it was soooo overly sweet. I frost it with lightly sweetened whipped cream now.

Yes, it was an old photo.  You might have fun browsing the photos.

I meant that I don't pipe frosting. I'll spread it on with a knife.

That works ;)

But usually I make a bundt cake and spoon a glaze over it. Much easier.

I agree though when the boys were young I made rather fancy cakes for them.

The photo says Hawks Prairie Restaurant.  I didn't see a date but am guessing July, 2016.

Well, I'd only been there a couple of times, so I don't remember much of it at all.

Here's an NPR article that I think Laura might like:

The butterflies are back! Annual migration of monarchs shows highest numbers in years.

I googled and found photos of the restaurant, including the booths.  It also said permanently closed :(

I remember when it closed.  It was the end of an era.  There was a big article in the local paper about how Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell were moving in to the space. ::)

Chick-fil-A came in first and had drive-thru lines that lasted as long as a half hour!  I only went there twice to try it out...and only when the line was very short.  I don't go there because I don't think they're anything special...and their anti-gay stance. :P
