In thinking about those various beloved pieces I've been too frantic to watch or listen to over these past few weeks, I realize what a big part they play in keeping one in the spirit of things. Well, it's never to late to jump in.

We're not getting The Tragedy of Macbeth this weekend. I don't know whether to go to West Side Story or Red Rocket, which I hear is really good and set in Texas.

My favorite remains the Met DVD with Judith Blegen and Fredrica von Stade, but I don't see it on YouTube. I like this filmed version, but BK did not, as I recall.

I will watch a couple online, but that is absolutely the DVD for me. Totally worth owning.

I've pulled the DVD of Amahl and the Night Visitors and the 1970 Canadian broadcast of Hansel and Gretel, which I've never seen. I'll watch them tomorrow.
