Well, you've read the notes, the notes were impossible, and now it is time for you to post until the impossible cows come home.

Tonight, I'm going to see a local play as an audience member for the first time in more than two years!  Olympia Little Theatre is doing the stage version of Clue, based on the movie (which is based on the game) and several friends are in it!

I did see Tacoma Little Theater's production last year, but this is the first time that I'll be in the audience for an Olympia show.  I can't wait! :)

Yesterday must rank as one of the absolutely worst and humiliating days of my existence. By the time I was home from Lenox Hill, I wanted nothing more than to crawl into the tub and slit my wrists. No sooner than I walked in the door, Laura, Dr Blacksburg's social worker, called to check on me and talk me down.

After sweeping profusely while I sobbed, I hate myt life, I finally calmed down enough to tell her I was okay, it was time to feed three cats, and I was not going to off myself.

I fed the cats, ordered Chinese food for dinner, my neighbor Mark, Judy's husband, brought me a slice of banana bread Judy had made, and I had cleaned off my travel bag and thrown my soiled clothing into the hamper.

After dinner and cleanup, I lay down, watched the last two episodes of Hot in Cleverland, Season One, taken my meds, and I was in bed by 8:00. I thought I was getting sick, butI'm not feeling so bad this morning. I do not look forward to returning to radiation today.

I had never seen this clip before from My One and Only, my favorite Gershwin revisal.

Can’t narrow the Gershwin list down to single songs. So many pleasures.

Great clips, DR John G.  Thank you!

I saw that show on my first trip to New York. I was giddy. Had $10 seats in the back balcony.

What Harold Hill would shout as they approach with the tar and feathers?

I have a lab appointment in Aiken this morning at the VA.

That means a stop also at WalMart and The Fresh Market.

Yay.

I didn't go to see any of the Mission: Impossible films until the fourth, Ghost Protocol, which received such accolades for a couple of its sequences that I thought, why not? And in the theater I thought they were pretty breathtaking. I don't actually recall any of the plot now, and I knew then that there were references that I wasn't picking up because I hadn't seen the first three films.

Some months later I thought I'd catch up and I watched the first one. I literally don't remember any of it now. I do remember it was a little hard to get interested in. I've never yet moved on to #2 and #3. By all rights, such movies ought to be good escapist fun, if nothing else. So why are these such a chore, I wonder.
