I love my computer and all the work I do on it for the theeder.

I use Facebook to keep up with friends and family - and as I have written, when I direct a show I create a Private Group for the cast/staff/crew so I can post notes, choreography easy sheets, photos from rehearsal, etc.....and they can ask me questions.  It is also very useful if there is a change in the rehearsal schedule or I want to add something to the evening's activities.

Much easier than group emails.

Of course there is always that ONE person who is not on Facebook....

Several shows that I've been in also have created private FB pages.  For Mama Mia!, the music director made videos for us to learn the music.  This was at the beginning of 2020, when it was thought that quarantining would only last a few weeks.

The cats are fed. Because of Access-a-Ride scheduling, I got to Lenox Hill an hour early. My appointment was for 12:20. At 11:45, one of the technicians told me they were running ahead and did I want to do it now. I told her I had to wait till my bladder was full of water, and I asked to wait until 12:15

12:15 came and went. At 12:30, another technician, Selwyn, told me they were running behind and wouldn't see me before 1:00. This really upset me since my pickup tme to go home was at 1:25. I almost walked out, but I stayed and fumed.

At 12:50, Joe, another technician, told me to get undressed, and when we got to the dressing room, he explained the problem: they had an emergency patient, but the patient couldn't get the treatment until her doctor was present. Only, they coul;dn'ty find the goddamned doctor.

I final;ly got to radiation around 1:10 or so, finished my treatment at 1:25, ands scrambled to get dressed. I got to the lobby at 1:35 and called Access-a-Ride. My driver waited for me from 1:17 to 1:34 andf then canceled the ride. I called AAR, and they told me they would find a car for me, and the new driver picked me up at 2:15.

Mission Possible complete and I am now the proud owner of a pre-owned car - the Infiniti problem child was taken in trade and I had zero trouble saying goodbye. I now own a 2015 Mercedes Benz motor car C 250 - slate gray, beautiful, in perfect condition. I've always dreamed of having a Mercedes and the stars aligned and thanks to the major miracles it happened. Lots o' photos in the notes, but I'll see if I can re-size and post one right now.
