The navigation module is what makes the nav system in the car work. It's all pre-wired for it and it really should have been there but the former owner obviously took it with them. I have no idea how it works other than the map shows me where my car is and what street I'm on. I'm sure there's a video on YouTube that will show me how to program in a destination as well as my home destination. From there it should be easy.

My daily digest of CastRecL has been sketchy of late. I went several days without seeing anything. Well, that happens from time to time.

Which reminds me, I'm thinking of cutting back on a few Facebook groups. And I'll ask advice on this: Between Cast Recordings, Cast Album Collectors, and Forgotten Musicals, what could I let go and not miss much? It seems like good, interesting, informative posting is in short supply of late, and I've just been scrolling past it all.

Also, just curious - who is the guy who seems to post nothing but album covers - "From My Collection"?

ChasSmith, if you look under the group name, you should see who is posting From My Collection. It’s different people. Took me a while to figure that out.

There is a tiny Ukrainian cheesecake and espresso bar in town. Over the weekend, they announced that all profits were going to military efforts in their homeland. They sold out of everything and raised more than $72,000. That’s so cool.

Two days ago, Amazon announced it was opening a second brick-and-morter store in San Antonio. Today, it announced it was closing all its stores.

Wow, people must have donated above what they purchased.  I hope they can get the arms to Ukraine super fast.

This afternoon between 3:30 and 4:30 I had the most extraordinary, moving, and heartbreaking experience. It's taken Thatch four years to be really comfortable around me, but he's remained skittish and ready to run at any minute. After I fed the cats at 3:00, I lay down for a bit to let my legs stop aching. I was lying on my back with a pillow at my knees, and Thatch jumped onto my bed, went to the foot to check out Annabelle, who lay buried in the kitty quilt, turned back to me, and walked up my legs to my chest, where he lay down, facing me. I petted him, tickled him under his chin, and he lay there for maybe fifteen minutes. Then he sat up, groomed himself and walked away.

Maybe ten minutes later he returned and settled on my chest/ Then, licking my fingers, he stretched out on his side, using the crook of my right arm to prevent his falling off me and the bed. He extended his front paws up to my chin and brushed my face and seemed bery content to lie there as long as I would let him. I started to worry that his heart was giving out and that he was going to die in my arms, and, as this enormous painful bulge of emotion filled my chest till I feared my heart would explode, I gently rocked him and wept. There was so much love.

He lay there for a bit, then Stella caught his eye, and he jumped up and ran after her.

My knickers are in a twist today. Once again I've been wrestling with Cedars to obtain an appointment. It's one thing to have to wait 2-3 months to see a specialist, but it's now that long a wait to see my PCP. That just doesn't work. For many years I couldn't get health insurance because I have scoliosis (an abnormal spinal curve) and had to pay for everything myself. Thanks to Medicare, I now have excellent health insurance, but can't obtain the care I need because of problems with the medical group (in this case, Cedars-Sinai). Gawd! And they don't seem to think it's a problem!

I am curious to know about this navigation module and what it can do.

I hear that there's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it you can just take off and fly over traffic. Very convenient!
