Guess I'm in Facebook purgatory for twenty-two more hours, although I've contested the BS. I know exactly who reported me - an "actress" named Carolyn Quinn, who posted something rude about Tony Walton, so I took her on. She reported for bullying - I merely said she was behaving like an eight year old, and that was due to her responses. I knew I should have blocked her immediately - when you do that they can't report anything because they can no longer see the posts. When I'm out of purgatory I think I'll contact a few of our mutual friends and have some fun - after blocking her, of course.

Haven't done too much of anything - just really dealing with LA Now and Then problems mostly due to money. When I was asked if we could do the show, I was told there were a certain number of grants that could be gotten to do it and therefore we could do it as it needed to be done - band, cast, everything. One of the grants didn't come through but the others did. But all I hear about is money this and money that and I can't work under those conditions, with the daily dreck about it all and I kind of blew up today and hopefully things will be better now. The show is the show and I'm not going to do it half-assed. One of the biggest problems is that they have to purchase four more head mics and the price of those has gone up by over a grand since they bought them last. And they're trying to put that purchase solely on the budget of this show, which isn't right because they're going to use them for Applause when we do that and other shows - should either simply be a theater purchase for goods needed or amortized over a few shows. That would free up a lot of dough.

I'm pretty sure I've told this story before, but one of the soprano soloists got nervous just before her big solo, and instead of declaiming Shakespeare's lovely "Peace, Ho!," she instead sang "Heave, Ho!."
