It takes a lot of guts to wear a purple sport coat!

I know it's Good Friday in the Christian calendar, but Easter is my least favorite holiday ever. I will never understand the mythology ofi t.

?? What's there to understand?

Well, this is certainly going to be a weekend!  This Sunday will be my niece's 38th birthday!  For her birthday presents, she wanted to know if I could take her to Tacoma to a glass blowing place so that she could get some new glass pumpkins (which she collects), and also go to a vegan cupcake place and get some cupcakes.  I said sure, so I'm taking off half the day from work and we'll take her car to Tacoma (since my new car hasn't arrived yet >:( ) and then I'll go to work for half a day.  But then after work tonight...

Please share photos of the glass pumpkins.

Happy Passover or/and Easter to everyone
Telephone vibes for DR JANE.

Thank you.  I am on hold trying to schedule a medical test now, just in case I can't use my phone later today.

Happy seems the wrong word for either Passover or Good Friday, but vibes for all who observe.

True, but I always found Passover a fun holiday when I was young.

But if anyone could pull it off, you could, DR TCB!

We have our supplies laid in. Though technically, our matzoh is not kosher for Passover.

I understand the mythology of the phoenix rising from the ashes, but I will never understand this "dying to save us" nonsense and a religion built on torture, beating and execution. That should put a lot of Christian panties in a bunch!

And even though I am approaching 60, I will be the youngest at the table. So I will be asking the four questions.  :)

The four questions:

Can we have take-out tonight?
What’s on Netflix?
Can I have some more wine?
Are we done yet?

We're back in town.  I didn't think to take any pictures of the pumpkins today, but I can on Sunday.  And it turns out that it wasn't a vegan cupcake place...it's just a cupcake place.

I just called Goodspered and inquired about Brad Johnson. I hope I get good news back from the call.

I'll definitely have to add that 5th question into my siddur, DR John G.

And given gefilte fish, it is particularly apt.

DR John G., my birthday is September 14.

So, you are a mere 14 days older than me.

I don't like Passover matzoh and stopped buying it years ago.  I now stock up on regular matzoh before it is no longer available.
