Unbelievable DoorDash driver insanity. I ordered my little pizza that I like - I had a credit otherwise I would have just called and picked it up as it's about four minutes from here. So, I check the delivery map because it's taking longer than it should. it shows the car about three blocks away but says she's making another delivery. But the car just sits there, not moving, so I texted the driver and she immediately was on the defensive and uppity, saying she had three orders to deliver and that she was hung up at the first place and I should learn patience. I told her I was fine with patience and that she was close anyway. About seven minutes later of the car not moving, I texted her again and asked for an ETA - at that point, the online ETA was one minute and it had been one minute for ten minutes already. Then her car begins to finally move. All she has to do is drive one half block north, turn right, and got three blocks and she's here. Instead, she continued north and goes to deliver something that's almost two miles from here. At that point, I'd had it. I texted her again, saying I was baffled. She then said I was harassing her and that she'd reported me to DoorDash. Wrong thing to do. I immediately called Door Dash, cancelled the order, got a full refund and then some above that for the trouble with this person, and said while I don't want to or enjoy getting people in trouble, I really didn't appreciate her saying I was harassing her for merely trying to understand why she would go so far out of her way instead of doing the easier thing. I then texted the gal and said I'd cancelled the order and not to come here under any circumstances. She called me a nasty person. I said I'm anything but a nasty person, I'm a CUSTOMER whose food is sitting in someone's car getting cold. I told her I was sorry if she took my texts as harassing, but that they clearly were not harassing anyone in any way.
I've ordered again and hopefully we won't have a repeat.
