I've been trying to take care of various medical and dental visits. I had a waayyyy overdue dermatology appointment on Wednesday, which I thought would be just a preliminary consultation, but she saw a skin tag that concerned her and wanted a biopsy. I didn't think it was anything, but she removed it and did the biopsy. Benign. Life is full of little things that fortunately turn out to be insignificant, but you still need to go through the hoops. This one was easy.

Last night I watched a documentary on the Savoy Hotel in London. I found it quite interesting and will watch more (it's a series). But the prices! I don't know how much money it'd take for me to feel comfortable staying or eating there when one meal could feed hundreds.

The owner of the hotel was featured, too. You'd think he'd be wearing an expensive suit and tie and sport a perfect, conservative haircut, but no. He looked like he came from the East End and now owns an auto-body shop. Dressed in casual clothes and tennis shoes, and throwing out the f-word in every other sentence. So much for stereotypes.
