A friend was in California and saw her dining with Robert Foxworth shortly before she passed away and said she was still stunningly beautiful but very fragile looking.....

Loved her in everything. She did a miniseries backed on Conrad Richter's The Awakening Land, which I loved.

Watching a Western called Broken Lance, which I think I saw just a few years ago. But I remember nothing about it. Great cast. Spencer Tracy, Robert Wagner, Richard Widmark, Hugh O'Brien, Earl Holliman and Katy Jurado, who was nominated for an Oscar. E.G. Marshall is in a small role, and Jean Peters is the leading lady.

Got an interesting CD from the library today that I'm looking forward to listening to. Pianist Mitsuko Uchida is playing Beethoven's variations on a waltz by Diabelli. I had never heard of it before. Should be fun.
