Today I watched three (count 'em 3) movies:
First, I watched "Hocus Pocus 2" on Disney+. The three returning ladies were terrific. They've hardly aged, noticeably, since the 1993 film. Otherwise, it's pedestrian kiddy fare, IMO.
Next, I watched "The Langoliers" on YouTube. This is the Stephen King TV movie from 1995. I enjoyed it back then, and it's still very entertaining. Poor Dean Stockwell plays a character he just doesn't have the flair for. He tosses off some "dear boy" endings to some of his comments and it doesn't ring true at all. Bronson Pinchot is absolutely mesmerizing.
And last, I watched "John Carter", also on Disney+. I guess I'm one of the very few who find the movie extremely well made and entertaining. It has a wonderful music score by Michael Giacchino, and it's beautifully produced. Sets, costumes, special effects, photography are all first-rate.
