Back.

I think my iPhone 7+ from 2017 is starting to get tired, at least when trying to navigate and post on a browser. Too many things are taking too much effort, such as locating a cursor, pinching to zoom in or out, etc.

Time to do research and decide witch phone you want to buy next.

Tonight we are doing our zoom thing (actually, I'm not sure Kristi uses zoom for these, might be something else) with the small group of friends who have been the usual suspects at our New Year's Eve gatherings over the past ten years or more. It went to being online with the pandemic in 2020, we kept it that way last year, and we decided to do it once more this time. For one thing, the new outbreaks are just ridiculous this season, and for another, we simply aren't ready, energy wise, to host anything at the house. Maybe next year we'll get that energy back, and feel better about doing it.

Anyhoo, I'll be checking in here off and on as well.

Have fun.

Here's another:

Is Waldorf salad still a thing? It was a common thing when I was a young kid, we'd even have it at home, but I don't know when I last saw or heard of it anywhere.

Maybe at potlucks ;)

The other thing was Bell Burgers.

Don't remember hearing about those, but I'd try one, too. Anything like that, like Sloppy Joes -- great comfort food sandwiches.

I finished proofing another number from Dear World, "I Don't Want to Know." Next up: "I Never Said I Love You." I really love this score, except for the title song.

Thatch helped me a bit. But he mostly lay on the score and wanted to be petted and to play with my office supplies.

DR Elmore, what has to be done with the Dear World scores? Just proofing and correcting the existing materials? Is some reconstruction going to be necessary?

And he would have gotten away with it, darn it, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids.

The original cast recording of La Cage aux Folles doesn't appear to be available on any streaming service. Isn't that weird? Dear World certainly is.

Yes, fried seafood is a fine thing, DR John G., but especially as a treat in places like Coney Island and other northeastern beach towns and amusement areas along the New Jersey or New England coasts.

Fried clams!

The best fried clams I’ve ever tasted were at a beach snack bar somewhere near Ocean Grove, NJ.

What if it was someone's first day at the McCormick's factory and they printed 5,000 labels that said:
