Back from errands - bank, post office (DR TCB, watch for a package!), and grocery store. I just made a batch of Peanut Crisp Bars, my version of Rice Krispy treats that are thin, sticky, and frosted with a penuche-type icing. After sampling the icing, I need now to have a cup of black coffee to get rid of the sweetness.
When Richard and Rob return from school, I'll fix a nice dinner of baked tilapia, Spanish rice, green beans, sourdough bread, and, for dessert, Peanut Crisp Bars.
