Good Afternoon!

One box down - more or less... Only so many more to go - more or less...

:-\

I just picked a box at random to start going through.  It was from 1999...

-Boy, did Steve and I have a good time - at least from the receipts - during the week we vacationed at Disneyworld that June!  And many good meals too - The Brown Derby, Victoria & Albert's, etc.

...And lots of cards from Steve too... (cue the violins)

;)

DR divarobbie - How did your tech go?  And for what show were you in tech for?

Well, I[/i] certainly understand that, but how can I explain why John Waters would make that stipulation for the show in the first place?...if it's possible.

He wrote the role (as with most of his films) for his dear friend, the drag queen Divine.  Since it played that way in the film, he wanted it to be retained for the stage.

It was, indeed the tech from hell.  I'm in an evening of one-acts (a lot of Durang... I'm doing his FUNERAL PARLOR, among others).  Sad.  Most of the actors are still stumbling on lines, and its got to be fast to be funny.  The pacing at this point is deadly.  We open Thursday.  We'll see.

Hmm...

So... Now it looks like I may be playing even more auditions this Thursday and Friday in DC, and then again on Monday... So...

Repeat after me:

Jose will be in NYC this weekend.
Jose will be in NYC this weekend.
Jose will be in NYC this weekend.

-However, it does look like I'll be arriving Saturday morning instead of Friday morning as originally planned...

Hmm...

Thank you DRs JMK, Jane and Jennifer. We are just at the ideas stage but are hoping for early October next year. I love train travel. Trains in the UK and Britain have been good experiences for me as has my limited travel in the USA and also the train from Montreal to Quebec. (The Halifax line?).

I'd be lying if I said I was even the least bit organized. I still haven't found that bowl of spaghetti I lost track of in November.

I can usually find what I'm looking for, though, because I classify all my stuff into one of two categories: important stuff and not important stuff. The important stuff (the TV remote, laptop computer, chocolate stash, Legos, etc...) is all on or near my futon. All the not important stuff (school textbooks, for example) is somewhere in the rest of my room.

Organization...hm, that's really something I'm planning to do in the fall when I have more time on my hands.  Right now, I settle for letting everything pile up during the week and then sort through it on the weekends.  Oh and about once a month I gather all of Rodzinski's loose papers, CDs and other assorted tchotchkies (sp?) into a shopping bag and assign him the task of sorting them out.

I sometimes use the "Shopping bag" method - and consequently end up with a collection of shopping bags filled with accounts, receipts, bank statements etc - all of which need to be sorted out at taxation time!  My diary is usually used for the first few week of the year - then I can't find it.  The calendar is much more useful. At least that tends to stay in the one place.
Of course  DR TPunk did not say if DR Rodzinski actually carried out the assigned task!

We'll post a picture of him when we can get him to come out from underneath the bed!  I'm stuck at work right now and am anxiously awaiting to hear from Rodzinski at home to see if they made it through their first day alone in one piece.

It's the newest in Japanese horror movies being imported to the US:

I see soon-to-be-dead people.

I still need to solve the Unseemly Trivia Contest.  This one has me baffled.  I've been down more dead ends than a...er...a guy in a place with a lot of dead ends.

Back from rehearsal.  Just ran a few things today because our musical director wasn't there.  Tomorrow we have four hours scheduled, so that's good.

Hey!  It's those lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer!

Sometimes the great "outside" calls and we needs must commune with the natural world.

Or watch TV.
