I was in LA over the weekend. It was raining. Now it is raining here. Thank you for the rain, LA! We are always happy to have it.

While I am glad the rain followed you home, I am sorry you had it over the weekend.

I find the cover charge situation odd.  It seems since they made the error they still owe you the money.

I flew to LA Friday night for a meeting all day Saturday, then flew home. If the line at security had been much longer, I would have missed my return flight.

The annual marathon shut down the road outside my subdivision, so I couldn't go anywhere. It was fine with me that it rained.

Gina Lollobrigida has passed away.  She was 95, a long life.

I liked Gina L. Just watched her wonderful performance in Beat the Devil. She’s also great in Dassin’s The Law.

We are watching (and enjoying) the HBO Max Spielberg documentary that BK mentioned a few days back. There are a number of films I need to catch up on.

I'm hearing that Wade Williams, film copyright "squatter" extraordinaire, has passed away at age 80.

There is an Aldi very near me. I have never been in one. I should do something about that.

Monday afternoon greetings!  It’s been quite stressful here for the past few days.  Saturday Richard had GI distress so severe that I called an ambulance about 9pm and they transported him to our local ER.  I followed, of course, and he was diagnosed pretty quickly with an obstruction.  He was admitted about 2:30am and I stayed the night.

I did not stay last night and missed some excitement when, apparently, the obstruction resolved.  He feels much better today, but will have laparoscopic surgery tomorrow to see if we can find out what has been causing these episodes (of which this was the most severe).

Vibes for an uneventful outcome would be appreciated.

Good Morning - I miraculously got the car to the mechanic and made the 2 mile walk home - getting there was miraculous, not the walk LOL.

Anyway, we shall see what we shall see. The weather is nice today, sort of windy as I'm by the bay, but the walk was lovely and I'm thankful it wasn't raining for that reason.

Chores, lesson plans, rehearsal prep are on the docket today, and a Matilda rehearsal this eve.  Trying to stay positive!

Getting ready for episode 2 of All Creatures, which belongs on my list for today’s TOD. Even if I don’t watch it on TV per se.

Thank you, DR Elmore.  So far the news is NOT dreadful and we’re hoping it remains that way after tomorrow’s exam.

The photos you’ve been sharing on Facebook have been a delightful distraction.  Keep ‘em coming!

There’s a covered dish on All Creatures that I’d love to have. I think it’s a butter dish.
