A good ice cream confection you can find in the store is Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar. It's like a Dilly Bar shaped like Mickey's head. The quality is high.

Our old neighborhood in Delaware was originally built to house DuPont execs. It dated from the time of horses and buggies, so the streets were narrow, and it still had functioning old-fashioned streetlamps. I loved that.

It sounds like a lovely neighborhood.

It's interesting that everyone was sent a paperback sized book with the script....which I assume we keep.  The Music Books and Orchestra books were those bound things that are sent back and then I assume destroyed by Concord.

There was no restriction on writing in them....or erasing them.

The dental office is closed for the day.

I called the dentist at his emergency number since this needs taking care of and we need to leave for Bend on Monday morning.

He will see me at 7:30.

I am to text him at 6:30 in the morning to remind him/confirm my appointment.  I expect he doesn't want to go in early if I forget, like that is going to happen.

On the upside, I am not in pain.

I am impressed he answered quickly and offered me a solution.  We won't be back from Bend until after the office closes (early) for the day on Thursday.

Playing a rhyming-match card game with the kids and these cards were the last pair. I was like wtf? Then I texted my neighbor who gave it to us and said “do these words rhyme to you?” Yes, she said. She is from New Zealand and got the game there. Beware kiwis bearing linguistic gifts!

It's the same in Britain.  I remember reading that when Sondheim became the first visiting professor at Oxford to teach students the craft of songwriting, he gave the participants his favorite rhyming dictionary as a gift...but it was an American rhyming dictionary with American rhymes, which was somewhat useless to British songwriters.

After having experienced both screens, I really do like the smaller screen with more physical/tactile buttons than the larger all-touch screen.

I would have refused to buy a car with a screen like that.  Thankfully Keith also agrees with us about those large screens.
