DR JohnG, which edition of From Here To Eternity are you reading? I have the latest, uncensored manuscript edition from Dial Press.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0812984315/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Larry, I got the Kindle version of that edition, except the cover is shown as this:

And who woke up the knocker uppers?

And what if the woke knocker uppers were knocked up?

Yes, I went there.

Monday afternoon greetings!  Richard and I have deposited a curb full of trash for tomorrow’s pickup and we’re about to take a carload to Goodwill.

I have put out my trash for tomorrow morning's pickup.  The container was full, so there was no need to wait until tonight or morning.

I also made a trip to our recycling center with a trunk full of cardboard product...it's good to get rid of it.

I stopped at a local market for a loaf of bread, some tomatoes, hamburger buns and lite salt.

I feel SO accomplished.

Graeter’s just announced a “bonus flavor” - Buttery Popcorn: A sweet & salty, buttery ice cream with crunchy popcorn clusters.  Now, I like popcorn and I like ice cream but NOPE.

Not even once?  I'd have to try that, even if it was just a small cup.

I think I recall that the Crayola 64 box (with build-in sharpener) had a color called "Dark Umber."

Just so long as you remember that you could not use that color for apples.

They even wrote a song!

Don't Dark Umber the Apple Tree, for anyone who can see...!!!

Yes, I went there.

But you didn't go here:  Did the upper knockers wake anyone up?

This afternoon we’re going to do some errands and go out to lunch to celebrate a momentous anniversary.  Fifty years ago today I interviewed at Miami University-Middletown for what would be my first professional librarian position.

Worthy of celebration!!!  That first professional job is always the one you remember.

I wrote about See How The Run - it's all style, no interesting story, thinks it's funny when it's not, but I did love Saorise Ronan even though she had nothing really to play.

Essentially thankless roles for both her and Rockwell.

I was an SCL member for five years, never went to a single screening or event, so I stopped.

One thing I like about living here are the big recycling bins in the garage.

On June 29th I received an email that my confiscated medication would be shipped again.  I never received a reply asking how they can resend something I was told was not permitted.

On July 6th it was received at the LA post office where it, once again, sat.  I was sure customs had red flagged me and was going to keep it again.
