If you had twin daughters, you could name them Astrid and Astrud.

I know identical twins, Arlene & Marlene.  While not as unique as the names mentioned, there is still the problem of them sounding too much alike.

Cottage cheese ice cream is spinning.... it would have been fine last night if I would have put the dasher in right side up.... I'm not having a very good mechanical day. LOL

4 ingredients - a tub of cottage cheese, 2 Tbs of your favorite sweetener - I used sugar free maple syrup, a splash of vanilla and whatever else you want to put in it - I used blueberries.  I put it in the ice cream churner for 20 minutes or so.  You don't really need to, you can put it directly into the freezer of you wanted to.  Next time, I'll probably mix the cottage cheese and sweetener with an immersion blender to get the lumps out.  It's easy, and good for you!!!

I always liked the idea of Chloe and Cleo. :)

DR JohnG, Steve Raichlen's TV program today was about San Antonio. I want to go to that chicken emporium where the waiters wear "More Salsa Verde" T-shirts.

I will have to look it up.

Has anyone read Joseph Hansen, a mystery writer who created one of the first gay detectives? There’s an article in the Washington Post on his career. His work is back in print. I borrowed the first, Fadeout, which I will start after I finish the latest Stacy Abrams thriller, Rogue Justice.

I read all - or most of them - of them in the early 1980s. I enjoyed them.

The wonderful thing about trifles
Yes, trifles are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs...

Oops. Wrong song.

Nice rhyme, though.

Speaking of gay writers, if there are any fans of Armistead Maupin's "Tales of the City" series, book number 10 will be out in September.

It is called "Mona of the Manor".

It'll sell like hotcakes!

Seems to me it will bring in a rough crowd, all feisty and strung out on catnip.

Futzing and finessing took a while, and then I've written six pages, so time for a little break.
