I was in a good mood when I got up and dressed; I was in a good mood when I stepped out the door to take a photo of the piled up trash outside the apartment of The Man With the Bike, before Stella ran into the hall. I've been in a terrible mood since then, trying to lure thant damned cat back into the apartment. I will not be happy until she's indoors again.

The Man with the Bike, who complains about me to the landlord whenever I pass gas or do something to piss him off, leaves large amounts of trash in the hall regularly. His bike sat outside his apartment for a year or more. Last week, I got an email from the landlord about clearing out the hallway by July 26. His apartment door is behind that pile of books.

We officially enter the doldrums of the summer tomorrow. August is generally the hottest month of summer here, but even those days can linger into September and October.

Slept very well.
Wisps of dreams fail to haunt my thoughts.
I have oceans to swim and mountains to climb, deserts to sweep and poems to rhyme.
That, or I simply need to roll up my sleeves and clean my house.

So it's a Monday, and I am about to pay a most unseemly property tax bill.
Okay, let's just call a spade a spade. The thing is ugly, no two ways about it. And that's it, plain and simple. It's a most unattractive property tax bill.

The Camelot original cast album was formative. With its thick gatefold cover printed with glossy gold and additional page insert. I’d listen and read the whole story and study everyone involved, thus certainly where I first saw the name Goddard Lieberson.
The Music Man
Mame
West Side Story
How my sister Annie would play that Mame album over and over… then there was a local stage production, and it might as well have been a Broadway show to us. We went in knowing all the songs.
