After church I cleaned up and reset for the next service, then I drove to the deli and bought Vixdad an egg sandwich

Ran that home to him then drive back to church for a congregational meeting

I found this restaurant called L’Addresse in Tin Pan Alley

When I went in I was it sure if they were open .

But the greeter assured me that they were serving, although they only served from their brunch menu on a Sunday

And brought me a complimentary bread plate, with house made bread, croissants, and strawberry preserves.

I assume the butter was bought.

The black bread was absolutely amazing, moist and had flavors I couldn’t identify but really enjoyed

Then my vegetarian eggs Benedict (with avocado instead of Canadian bacon) arrived

It was served on house made brioche…best I’ve ever eaten, soft, moist and slightly sweet, eggs were perfect, whites entirely cooked but yolks runny and nice big slices of avocado covered with just enough hollandaise .

When I asked for the check I mentioned to my server that the black bread was especially remarkable.

He told me it was baked in-house from a family recipe developed by the owners grandmother
