Well, you've read the notes, the notes were insured, and now it is time for you to post until the insured cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  I have Farmers, and I've heard nothing about requiring six months up front!  I have both my house and car insurance with them, so together I get a deal that is better than each individually.

I had a strange dream I don't honestly remember, but it had something to do with Kurt Weill's Tango-Ballade from The Threepenny Opera.

This morning, I must wash in a heavy dose of Clorox those spotted towels I had used to mop the floor during the AC leaks. Then around noon, my friend Jason is coming by to help me with my new computer.

I finally took a Theraflu (nighttime) last night before bed, and had the best night of sleep I've had for a week.

No runny nose, so I was able to use my CPAP without incident.

I slept enormously well last night, fully using my CPAP for the first time in nearly a year all through the night and being loath to remove it when I awakened.

It's strange to me how fully oblivious we all are at the ability to breathe clearly and without issue.

It's not until the odd cold or flu that one realizes the precariousness of clogged sinuses.

I cannot say just how much those nasal polyps have shrunk, but I am freely breathing through both nostrils daily.  And that is a joy unto itself.

And my sense of taste and smell continues to improve.  Food actually TASTES like food for a change.

And, yes...the refrigerator smells fresh and clean and new now that some very old stuff has been removed from it.

I have a mid-day doctor's appointment in Aiken, so I have that to look forward to.

Well, not that exactly.  It's the availability of The Fresh Market and Sam's Club that tickles me.

I truly don't know from insurance providers who can save me the most money.  I have been insured by State Farm all my adult life.

My mom used State Farm for home and cars, and I simply jumped in and did the same when I left Oakland to come here.

I have been told that USAA is truly outstanding, and kinfolk say I should swtich over.

If USAA had a field office nearby, I might consider it.  But State Farm is firmly entrenched in this County and has a sterling reputation.

Singdaw:  How funny it is that we were posting at about the same time and talking about CPAP sleep.

We've had our car and renter's insurance through GEICO for many years, and are happy with them. They also allow the installment payment plan. If you take an online defensive driving course once every five years, they apply an additional discount.

When I informed them that I was working from home and no longer commuting, we got a further discount. Less mileage, less risk, I suppose.
