We use Progressive which is fine. But there’s a new law in British Columbia that is concerning. I’m in Canada at least part of every day. Even if a Canadian driver is at fault in an accident, US insurance cannot collect from them, nor can I or my insurance company sue them.

Good Afternoon - I continue to walk around in a haze today as we all have pretty much found out about the cause to death of my aforementioned friend of mine yesterday.  I'm not surprised, but saddened nonetheless.

I hope DR ELMORE is learning a lot about his new computer.

Sadly, I did not. We need cable adapters.

I still love the song by Earth, Wind & Fire!  How could you not?? ;D

Yikes!  What does this mean for you?  You certainly aren't the only people in this situation. :-\

BTW, Matthew, I like your new avatar, but am puzzled at the position of the fingers of your right hand. Is this some sort of code?  ;)  I think that every time I see it.

A few years ago car insurance took a big jump up in California. I don’t recall why, but all the insurance companies raised their prices.

I currently pay $800+ every 6 months for a 2011 Audi A3 hatchback. I think that’s very high for such an old car, but I shopped around a few years ago, then moved to Traveler’s because they were cheaper than most. I drive very little and have high deductibles.

I am envious of Jrand’s low bills.

Elmore, cable adapters should be an easy problem to solve. I imagine Amazon would have them.

I slept enormously well last night, fully using my CPAP for the first time in nearly a year all through the night and being loath to remove it when I awakened.

It's strange to me how fully oblivious we all are at the ability to breathe clearly and without issue.

It's not until the odd cold or flu that one realizes the precariousness of clogged sinuses.

I cannot say just how much those nasal polyps have shrunk, but I am freely breathing through both nostrils daily.  And that is a joy unto itself.

And my sense of taste and smell continues to improve.  Food actually TASTES like food for a change.

And, yes...the refrigerator smells fresh and clean and new now that some very old stuff has been removed from it.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Ron. Hadn’t you lost hearing in one ear, too? Or am I misremembering? Hope the improved sinuses continue.

I truly don't know from insurance providers who can save me the most money.  I have been insured by State Farm all my adult life.

My mom used State Farm for home and cars, and I simply jumped in and did the same when I left Oakland to come here.

I have been told that USAA is truly outstanding, and kinfolk say I should swtich over.

If USAA had a field office nearby, I might consider it.  But State Farm is firmly entrenched in this County and has a sterling reputation.

I’ve known several people who have had USAA and all spoke highly of it. Why do you need an office? Everything can easily be done online these days.

I went to the hairdresser today. I always stop at the bagel bakery first for bagels for hairdresser Richard and myself. Today Richard was telling me about a client he dislikes. He doesn’t need to work, but he loves doing hair, so he only takes clients he likes. Another hairdresser there, C., doesn’t like this client, either. They were both making up stories to avoid doing her hair. Another hairdresser, who used to work for Richard, is back in town. They’ve hired her to help out and, I suppose, take the undesirable clients. It was quite funny hearing their side of things.

As usual, I stopped at my favorite food store on the way home. They had the out-of-this-world strawberry mousse today. Yum!
