Concerned about my friend in Israel I asked if she had a shelter room.  Read her response.

"Yes we do. However, the problem is that you cannot lock them from the inside. They were designed to protect people from rockets. The only way to keep the terrorists from opening the reinforced steel door is to use all your strength to hold the handle so the terrorists can't turn it and open the door. I guess now someone will come up with a way to lock them. You see the picture. To open, you move the handle up and to the right. So you need to prevent that by using all your strength to keep someone from doing that. An extended family member did that for the 2.5 HOURS that terrorists were in their house and saved his family. Soldiers killed the terrorists."

If I won the Powerball, I think I'd spend it all saving animals from euthanasia at the NYC shelters. I wish I could have saved Skeeter; he was adorable but too big for my apartment. No 2-year-old pup deserves to die. He was murdered last Thursday.

Allergies are off the chart today - I've asked someone to get me the twenty-four hour Claritin-D as the twelve-hours just aren't as potent. I took one an hour ago and it's barely kicked in yet.

I can't imagine holding the handle down for ten minutes, let alone 2.5 hours.

Well we actually only had Vera Bradley bags ( thank you, DR Ginny!!) which hung nicely from the handles of the wheel chair . 

I’m just trying to increase the punishment and misery inflicted on the architects.

I made an appointment to get my flu shot after I have my yearly checkup with my radiologist on Friday.

I was going to schedule my Covid-19 vax then, too, but they don't have it.

So I went online and signed up to get the vax (Moderna) tomorrow at Walgreen's.

Tomorrow is shopping day, so I will probably stop and make an appointment for an eye examination......for next week.

My arm still hurts.  Nothing bad, I'm just concerned that if it is still sore on Thursday when I get my flu vaccination it will really hurt.

I refused to read the ones not written by him after the way his family treated his long time partner.  It is very sad Larsson died without marrying her, or leaving a will.
