Finishing Hitchcock’s Murder, an early sound film. The sound is a problem.

So much news today!

Congrats to Elmore on the M&M opening and the great review. It sounds like a lovely show.

Has PBS approached you yet?   :)  It does sound like the sort of thing they’d like.

Not yet halfway through Barbra. Up to Jon Peters.

I am sleeping extraordinarily well these days.

Yesterday was my first "fully functional" day of the week since my colonoscopy.  The drugs they used had a lingering after-effect that made me feel a bit out of sorts.  It did pass, however.

I often react to drugs given to me for a procedure. The doctors and nurses say, “That shouldn’t happen,” but it did. It does. They often really knock me out.

Watching the alternate ending of Murder. The one used in the movie was pretty spectacular. Hitchcock had the visual style and editing greatness then.

I’ve been doing laundry — in HOT water — and will soon do a little cleaning. So mundane! So pedestrian!

I gave Bruce two boxes of old Hollywood photos taken by my late neighbor. Lots of celebrities — Bob Hope, Debbie Reynolds, Tom Selleck, plus lots of people I didn’t recognize. There were several of John Travolta, too. Bruce felt that John Travolta would like to have them, as he’s probably never seen them, and they are being passed on to him.

It bugs me the way so many people think that because something is old it has no value. I love old things and even little things can be meaningful to someone. Going through my late neighbor’s stuff is quite a project, but I’ll just do it as I can.

DR Ginny - do you have a Cricut machine? I just saw one advertised. It looks like a lot of fun.

I had to look that up :)
