DR Ginny, I looked at the listing's photos and didn't recognize the place!

We barely recognized it ourselves!

Friday morning greetings!  We have just returned from watching Charlotte perform in her daycare Christmas program.  She was the best, of course.

Of course! ;D

And, we have a listing:

Whe-e-e-e!

Wow!  Very nice house, Ginny!

I am a bit surprised at the "sparse" staging, but I guess they wanted just a little something to offer perspective.

Nice neighborhood, nice yard.  I love that basement!!  You should have NO trouble at all selling this house!!!

Whatever food poisoning issue I have is, I'm afraid, the last straw. My stomach, like the last time this happened a couple of weeks ago, feels like constant cramping, like to idiots are in there pinching things. So, I was up a good deal of the night. Pepcid's not helping at all. I guess I needed one more thing to make this week a complete disaster. I may try for more sleep later.

This food poisoning has happened far too frequently, Bruce!  Something you are routinely eating is simply not agreeing with you.  It is likely something you favor and enjoy, too.

I recommend seeking medical assistance in narrowing down what is making you sick.

I completed my trip to Sam's Club with no issues of any kind other than drivers who don't understand who has the right-of-way at a four-way stop.

I was stopped and waiting for a car to my right to go through, when he did I started through, but the car that was behind him decided not to stop and cut right into my path/right-of-way.

No accident happened, but it was close.

For all the stuff that Sam's Club has, it did not have one of the main things I wanted:  Christmas bags of a medium size.

I found what I wanted at The Dollar Tree just up the road from where I live.  Stopped there on my way home.

I did get my blueberry muffins and ice cream product from Sam's, however, so the trip wasn't a waste.

I had baked catfish, grits, succotash and a baked sweet potato for lunch.

The owner of Third Generation asked me what I was doing on Christmas Day.  I have Christmas Eve plans, but none for the next day.  Therefore, I was invited to Christmas Dinner for friends of Third Generation. It is a private dinner for their constant patrons.  I am honored to be asked, and I may go.

I have gift bags to prepare for Christmas Eve.  I plan on wrapping a few things, and the rest will just be tossed into bags.

Most Christmas gifts have already been given...all the ladies got earrings and they got seasonal candles (Harry Slatkin variety) to burn during the holidays.

These folks are all cousins, but as I have no children of my own, I think of them as such.

DR John G., I have received two amaryllis bulbs in wax.  They won't be blooming any time real soon, but they have grown quite a bit since I put them near a window earlier this week.

I drive defensively at all times.  Far too many folks refuse to heed signs, lights and rights of way.

Since I retired, my driving has been far less anxious/anxiety-inducing.  I see my former self in folks who suddenly appear in my rear-view mirror when I'm doing the speed limit, and they are 10-15 mph over the limit.

My mom used to perturb me by not stopping for Stop signs, but she would say everyone locally does it when they can see that nothing is coming.  She's the one who criticized me for breathing when I was learning to drive!!!
