Today that changed and a professional management company has taken over. It’s been chaos, Instead of introducing themselves and letting us know where to pay our rent we each received a cryptic text about signing up to their portal. Most people didn’t even know who sent the text. Then we each received an email reminding us that the rent is due today. We finally received a letter from them, giving us the necessary information. We can mail them our rent, drive to Sherman Oaks to hand-deliver it, or send it electronically for $2.49 each time, or an even higher change using a credit or debit card. My neighbor was livid. I called my bank, and a helpful person said that she’s seen this a lot, fees just to pay your rent. This does not bode well.
