Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Thank you, all, for the travel vibes. It rained, sometimes very heavily, for a long portion of the drove yesterday. That and road construction made it longer than it should have.

TOD: I can't think of any jobs I've had that I really disliked. I guess I'm fortunate. I really like the job I have now.

Me too, though I don't have a job now. Well, there was that high school summer job at Hardee's as a fast food grill cook. I got fired after a week for not being fast enough. But it ended up OK, I got a pizza delivery job after that.

It is a bit disconcerting, kind of like when you are in a new home/hotel/etc. and there are strange noises.

The photo of the couple with “she’s mine/he’s mine” T-shirts reminds me of the new Casey McQuiston novel, The Pairing, which I am currently listening to. A bisexual couple get back together on a food trip through Europe. They have sex with anything that moves but each other.

It’s okay, but … it ain’t not Red, White and Royal Blue. And it’s a little too long.

I thought Red White and Royal Blue was too long.

You’d have less patience with this one.

Best job:

Managing a food pod at Woodstock ‘94. I wan three food pods. We were supposed to close at 11 p.m., but I assumed control with four people and stayed open all night. My philosophy: If you have all these stoned people with the munchies, why would you close off the food supply?

We also did some bartering. We had orange juice, which we traded for vodka.

Plus, the pod was across from the main stage, so I was clean and dry (remember the mud?) and very well entertained.
