It may surprise you all that I did taking a typing class in high-school.

Jane, no changes. Still looking at condo listings daily, but I don’t think that what I wanted exists here. Do I buy something I’m only so-so about, just to have a place to live? That’s what will probably happen, but I would like to find a better alternative.

Jeanne, Trunk or Treat is where the grownups park their cars, open the trunk, decorate the trunk, and hand out candy. Popular at churches and schools.

I am, thanks. My stomach has settled down, and Thatch actually came out of the cat tree to eat a little seafood medley.

TOD: We get a few trick or treaters, not as many as when we moved in, so we're ready for them. I dress up as Steve Jobs (black mock turtleneck, blue jeans, New Balance shoes) but nobody gets the joke except me.

The scariest trick or treater was the kid a couple years ago who said, "I'm here to discuss your car's extended warranty." I told him to take as much candy as he wanted.

I'm up, I'm up - maybe five hours of sleep - anxiety was the culprit.

I left even earlier than planned, so of course there was no traffic at all. Got a free parking space on the street.

Once I went in, they did what they do, dilated me, came back fifteen minutes later and did a thorough exam. It's definitely a weak muscle but they need to be certain which muscles are affected and the surgeon will determine that as the final arbiter. So, now we wait for the surgeon referral to be approved by United Health Care (shouldn't be a problem) and he really wants an MRI so he also contacted my PCP that's I'll be seeing in three weeks to make sure that happens. It will either be an open MRI or only my head and shoulders will go in the machine - that I can deal with. As to my actual vision, I'm twenty/twenty in the left eye and 25 in the right. He said that's really good. He said my cataracts are mild and not worth doing anything about right now. The whole thing took about an hour.

Then I came back to the Valley, had some food, then picked up the more important of the two important envelopes and hopefully the other one will be here tomorrow.

My favorite Disney cartoon for Halloween:

This cartoon is really 1952, not 1956.

I guess the Headless Horseman counts, too!

I used some of my Gypsy money to buy a new tabler yesterday. It should arriver on Monday. The table I have was the cause of a bad fall earlier this year, it now has a broken wing so I've lost some needed surface area, and it's too flimsy. I think this new one will be sturdier.

That's too bad about the broken wing, but I hope your new table is everything you need it to be!

Thatch is sick; he won't eat and he won't leave the cat tree. His nose is warm, and I want to be with him.

Oh, no!
