The FTC, according to them, would not call you about winning a prize. The Peter Klein Sterling Law Group site REEKS of being fake. If you DO talk to them, the second they ask you for ANY information at all or say that you have to pay ANYTHING to get the prize (taxes in advance, a fee, ANYTHING) it's a SCAM and do not do it. There are hundreds of variations on Publisher's Clearing House scams and this sounds like the latest. BE CAREFUL.

I appreciate the advice from everyone. Believe me, I'm going into this with my eyes wide open.

Now, on a more pleasant note: Ann and Jen just left after giving me an hour of their time to assemble my new table and remove the old one. It's quite sturdy and handsome.

Started watching the Met's production of Glass's Satyagraha. The movie sic is hypnotic.

The Met's staging is lavish, to say the least. It helps with a work that is fairly inert dramatically. In act two, Gandhi walks from the back of the stage to the front.

I hate autocorrect. Three times it tried to change "in act two" to "I'm fact two. "
