BK, have you watched Mary Poppins: The Untold Story? A good chunk of it is a loving tribute to the Sherman brothers, with some things I haven't seen before.

That would make sense, since it was produced by the sons.

Jane, you mentioned liking A Man on the Inside. I gave it a try tonight. You didn’t mention that one of bk’s singers is in it. (First episode)

Does anyone have any CD recommendations for someone who claims to be a music lover but doesn’t know a lot about music? Not inclined to try new things, either. I’m thinking big names — Pavarotti, R&H. Any thoughts?

I did some much-needed cleaning today. But not too much. I’m clearly in relaxation mode, whether I want to be or not. Online sales, too. I rarely shop in an actual store anymore, except Trader Joe’s. Some good deals out there and also some so-so ones.

What a weird and almost useless day and evening, mostly due to three hours of sleep.

I did plop down on the bed at some point and slept for two more hours and I did doze off trying to watch a movie for about thirty minutes.

Like Ron, I have a number of medical appointments in December. Pretty routine. Otherwise, I’d prefer to be as low-key as possible. I’m not big into Christmas, but I like to get together with friends and exchange a few gifts. A quiet holiday.

Had a mediocre patty melt and a couple of mediocre onion rings for food.

Went to Gelson's and got some salad for this evening, which I'm eating now, although they were out of a bunch of things I usually put in it, like egg, green peppers, and a couple of other items. My Gelson's really is useless.

Methinks you need the sleep.

I did watch one motion picture so far, a VERY low budget film noir with good actors, who I'm surprised did it - one of the cheapest looking movies ever. But interesting for several reasons.
