I was at the computer and everything was going well.....when I was struck with a bout of some kind of sickness.

I have been lying down since 10:30 a.m. and feeling a bit better.

Monday evening greetings!  I have made peace with our decision to stay home this week.  We picked up a huge Kroger order and I’ve started preparing some of our favorite holiday dishes.  Meanwhile, Rob and Mary Linda are kindly sending frequent photos of what we’re missing at their house.

TOD - I started 2024 with Covid and I’m ending it with bronchitis and threw in a little thing called cancer in between.  Add to that the deaths of one beloved relative and two special librarian friends and this year has been a real dumpster fire.

But, I am grateful for the smooth sale of our old house and the high level of contentment we have here in the new one.  And we do have one piece of REALLY GOOD NEWS:

Come spring Charlotte and Hannah will welcome a sibling into our family!

You’re always welcome, DR ChasSmith, but I should warn you that one of those items is lemon lime Jello cottage cheese surprise.
