ChasSmith - maybe I'm forgetting that I've seen Four Flies, but that's easy to check.

You're right, ChasSmith - back in 2009 I apparently bought a DVD, which I must still have somewhere. I didn't like the movie much back then.

I'll probably go searching for the DVD, although the YouTube thing is probably off that.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  I logged in a while ago to check my past posts for some travel details from years ago.  What a rabbit hole!

I finished kitty cleanup around 9:00 this morning and went back to bed, where I've been dozing for the past five hours. I am now out of bed to giive the cats some dinner. I may have some soup.

I went back to Iris’s recipe for Swiss Cheese and Onion Pie. It calls for 1 box of chopped onions. ???? Anybody know? I guess I can Google it.

2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 eggs
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded
1 c. half & half
1 tsp. salt
Spread pie crust with 1 tablespoon butter. Chill. In small skillet, cook onions in 2 tablespoons butter until clear. Spread evenly on pie crust. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Toss cheese with 1 tablespoon flour. Sprinkle over onions. Beat eggs with half & half and salt. Pour over cheese. Bake 10 minutes. Turn oven to 325 degrees and bake 30 to 35 minutes until knife in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes.

It may not taste exactly like the restaurant’s version, but it looks pretty close.

My parents took me to Las Vegas with them when I was a little girl.

We went to see Dean Martin, and he sang “Everybody Loves Somebody”, his big hit song at the time.

He changed the lyric “If I had it in my power” to “if I had you in my shower”…it was Las Vegas, after all.

My parents looked over at me, and seemed concerned.

I pretended that I hadn’t heard or understood, and just looked down and continued to eat my ice cream parfait, laughing hysterically on the inside.

I wonder if they have a strict age limit for Las Vegas shows now.

Thanks for the recipe, too. I have all of the ingredients here, except for the half and half.

Zoom meeting over. Leonard always knows when there's a zoom meeting. He insists on walking back and forth over my lap before settling down. Which is a problem when I need to type.

It was a really good vegetable box this week. It even included a loaf of Ezekiel bread. That's expensive stuff!

My brother's snake is in the garage and he can't get to it.

I guess I will have to just suffer and call someone on Monday.

Sorry

We were married when my parents took us to see Jerry Lewis. It would have more embarrassing if we weren't all laughing so hard.

Wow, if only someone would get those two together. They’d make a great comedy act.

I had a similar experience in high school watching Young Frankenstein. My dad was not amused.
