Rehearsal was fun and we got the song part of Dancing with Alice all done and then I blocked scene three leading into the song Holmes and Watson (we'd already staged the song) and then scene seven leading into Dancing with Alice. Then we have the big scene that follows Dancing with Alice, which is ten pages long, but once that's done, act one is blocked.

It was fun for me because I just got to watch Cheryl Baxter work her magic on Dancing with Alice. We also ran Holmes and Watson, since our leading lady is back with us and there were a few people who hadn't seen it and they loved it. It's the kind of number I love staging and it really is cute.
